The purpose of the special meeting is to discuss if the council wants to make specific comments about budget items and priorities at future PAUSD board meetings, town halls or other forums.   These positions would need to voted on at the May 3 Executive Board meeting.

The meeting will be held in the SDC Front Conference Room on Tuesday April 25th from 11 am – 2 pm at the Churchill office.  PTA members are invited to attend and bring their own lunch.

 Please join us for this PAUSD-Palo Alto PTA forum where you will learn about the many issues currently affecting our immigrant communities. Our panelists will discuss: the school board resolution to protect immigrant students; your legal rights, including ICE raids and recent Executive Orders; how to talk to your children who may be experiencing fear and distress; and how we can all come together as immigrants and allies to support one another and keep our community welcoming and safe for all.

Spanish and Mandarin translation. Childcare available. This forum is suitable for high school students.
