The PTA Council honored Judy Argumendo,
Dan Nitzan and Susan Usman who have made extraordinary district-wide contributions to the Palo Alto community. In addition we recognized a team for Bike Safety and Accessibility as well as incredible volunteers that have been instrumental at the school level. Congratulations!

Special PTAC Meeting to Discuss the proposed PAUSD Budget

A special PTAC meeting was called for Tuesday, April 25, for our council to further discuss the proposed budget. Details of the district budget are posted here https://www.pausd.org/explore-pausd/board-education.

The purpose of the special meeting is to discuss if the council wants to make specific comments about budget items and priorities at future PAUSD board meetings, town halls or other forums. These positions would need to voted on at the May 3 Executive Board meeting.

The meeting will be held in the SDC Front Conference Room on Tuesday April 25th from 11 am – 2 pm at the Churchill office. PTA members are invited to attend and bring their own lunch.

All Palo Alto PTA members are welcome to join us for our general meeting on Wednesday April 12th from 8:45 am – 11:00 am in the SDC Room at the PAUSD Offices (25 Churchill Ave.) The agenda includes the election of officers for 2017-18 and advocacy updates.
